On Monday, April 18, 2022, Private Education for a New-World (PEN) and La Société d’Aménagement Zenata (SAZ) signed a purchase agreement for the land that will house the future SABIS®-operated CADMUS® International School in Morocco. The land is located in the eco-city of Zenata, just a short distance outside Casablanca and the first African city to be awarded the Eco-City Label.
Set to open its doors in September 2023, CADMUS® International School – Zenata, is the latest addition to the growing network of CADMUS® International Schools, a new concept of schools by SABIS® that offer the full SABIS® educational experience on optimized campuses and competitive tuition fees.
“We are proud to announce that that the first school managed by SABIS® in Morocco will be located in the eco-city of Zenata. We place the well-being of our future inhabitants at the very heart of the city’s development and we believe that CADMUS® International School – Zenata is a great addition to the high-quality services we offer,” commented Zenata CEO Mohammed Amin El Hajhouj.
For his part, PEN CEO and SABIS® President Carl Bistany said: “Today is a great day that is the culmination of our long-standing discussions with Zenata to place our first CADMUS® International School in Morocco in the heart of a city that has innovation and quality of living at its core. SABIS®’ values and strong commitment to bringing a top-quality education to Morocco aligns with Zenata’s objective of bringing the best services to its population.”
